The new Star Trek movie by J. J. Abrams is going to be a completely different kind of thing compared to the originals.  It's probably going to be like the new Star Wars compared to the old Star Wars.

Speaking of only somewhat cool, I just saw Jumper.  It deserved all 16% that it got from RottenTomatoes and nothing more.  The plot is a joke.  (speaking of, what happened to his father?  He was in the hospital and it was never mentioned again.)  Pretty special effects though.  good ( Read more... )
