It really is the best icy desert you could choose.
Yes, there does seem to be quite a few of us whose life skills include being able to name all of Mulder's informants and quote large chunks of Memento Mori. Do you think these are desirable skills for prospective employers? ;)
The next time GA treads the boards, you'll have to join our World TWoP-Con and inspire that jealousy in other Philes, instead!
Oh, I don't think "overly generous" is right at all, more like "deservedly generous". (I love how much mutual appreciation that this last question has generated across the fandom!)
I actually almost flew to London just to see the play. How insane does that make me? But then I decided it would have been really selfish. And also I probably would have embarrassed myself if I'd actually encountered Gillian. I would have handed her something to autograph, and I know my brain would just totally misfire and I'd talk like Mushmouth from Fat Albert.
Insanely gay for GA, perhaps? I almost killed myself travelling from Oxford to Bristol to London from four in the morning, on the day of the show.
Yeah, although we waited for her for around an hour after the play, I was almost relieved realising Gillian wouldn't be coming out that night. I'm convinced I would've stammered embarrassingly and incoherently at her about my love for Scully, or something equally fangirlish and inappropriate for a theatre audience.

Most North American birds? That is pretty impressive and easily more useful than any of my self-proclaimed "skills". And, thanks! Right back at ya.

I feel you.
Maybe if you were applying to an aviary, but otherwise you're probably right.

And you are very, very kind, if overly generous. I'm glad you commented too. ♥
