The accident that happened last Thursday made me miss two days worth of work. I was telling
beyondallrepair that God found a way to get me off my work. I was supposed to present for a client early Thursday night, so I called up a couple of people who could take over in my absence, gave out my password and have them go over the material that I was supposed to present. For some reason, the person who took over did not make it because he went to the wrong venue (no comment).
I also had a couple of schedules set to be released that night so I had to endorse them to someone else. It is true that when the cat is away, the mice will play. This one account, asked some sort of schedule change to my back up (Dan). Dan didn't have any choice but to give in. I hate that account because the supervisors there think they know better. They would come up with all these weird suggestions for their schedules. They know I would never give in to their stupidity so they bugged Dan in my absence. It was nice of him to ask them to wait for me. They will really get some spnaking when I get back.
Friday night, I thought I'd get some things done myself. So I asked some people to send over some files to my personal email so that I can work on them at home. I also talked to some of the managers regarding their requests. My boss also needs some things from me.
Well, I'm surely not gonna be paid even if I'm working at home. But I dont want to leave anyone wanting. This is what I've always wanted to instill in the analysts under my charge. Whatever they promise, they need to make sure that they will deliver it as expected.
