GAMD: 20-August-2022, Macau
I missed the 4-August GAMD, and I haven't gone anywhere on holiday (well, I did, but I already wrote about it in the June GAMD, so, not repeating myself), so I'd just do a GAMD today.
It's Saturday, but my sister needs to work, so, early day, and it was overcast and very windy.
After all the morning ablutions (toilet, wash, skincare), I decided to just go simple with SPF and a bit of eye line and mascara.
Certainly it was all blue skies and bright sun during our morning dog walk!
It's Saturday, so I spent the morning at Starbucks with a light breakfast and worked on the usual things (Friday Five, dog shelter charity finance log). Didn't do any German as I sorted through the postcards I was going to send for Postcrossing. Sorry, I forgot to write some postcards for friends though, so next time!
After grouping the postcards according to the destinations, I go to the post office to drop them off.
Apparently, during my stay at the post office, which must have been less than 10 minutes, it rained. And I don't know why, the name convectional rainfall just popped up in my head. Certainly something we learnt in school but I thought I had forgotten it all.
Back home, I sat in bed to scroll a bit on my phone and snuggle bug Frankie comes over for a nap.
I forgot to shoot lunch, but just as we were having lunch it started to pour and storm again.
Dad switched on the air con for lunch, and after lunch and cleaning up the table, I figured I might as well enjoy the air con out in the dining room. So I read for a bit out there.
I returned back to my room after a while and planned to do some German but conked off. When I woke up it was just before 6pm and so I set up the yoga mat for some exercise. Dad switched on the air con in the living room by then so I also just leeched that off LOL. I had to kick the dog out for a little while, but soon, he came back with reinforcements. Sadly, I think I hurt my wrist again as the HIIT set was rather intense.
I then do a chapter of German and ugh... mom and dad did come in to see what I was doing but I decided to ignore them, only saying I'm busy and not to disturb me.
Forgot to shoot dinner but dessert was interesting. HOWEVER. As their was lemon juice in the fruit salad, the cream from the Baileys clumped up. Nah, again, I prefer Baileys served straight.
It was too dark to take any photos of the dog walk, so here's the paw wipe-down after the dog walk.
Received notification on Taobao that an order I made (new case and keyboard cover for the new laptop) has arrived the "receiving" company (it's more like a forwarding company). Hopefully the package will arrive the final destination tomorrow.
After shower, it's the night skincare routine, and I'm going to sleep. My wrist is bothering me... sh*t, I might have dislocated something in there again. It's back to the chiropractor on Monday!
