Fevered filing

Obviously the next thing that happened was that I got hit by what was probably this winter's flu and spent two days in bed unable to move, which was tiresome and painful. This morning I woke up and the fever seems to have broken so I'm mostly just contending with the mother of all sore throats. It's not great, but it's better than I have been ( Read more... )

This is true. Last time I had flu I was convinced that my car had been hit by a meteorite.

Thank you, I'm certainly a lot more spry now as long as I don't do anything difficult like climbing stairs or standing for any length of time. Much improved.

I am very interested by the things that brains seem to latch onto when a fever hits- those are obviously strong ideas or they just hook in to something. Mine also had a massive ship which must come from the Martha Wells "Fall Of Ile Rien" books as those are what I've just finished reading...
