I just discovered these two great Half Life based comic strip series. 'Concerned' and 'PHWonline'. They both use the Half Life video game engine to create amusing situations in a 3D environment, then a snapshot is taken for each frame and text bubbles added. The Ultima VI Project
Ultima VI is one of my all time favourite games. I played it for three years for a few hours a week, and often more. I consider it the best virtual universe I've ever visited. I've been playing a few Pirate themed xbox games recently, they all have sword battles, but after a few rounds the novelty wears off as they're not very complex.
