ALRIGHT PEOPLE! THIS HERE IS A POSITIVE POST, YA HEAR?
M'kay, so I like to have a positive outlook on life, and while I'm not really one to stop and smell the roses (well, ok, if they're LITERALLY roses then maybe I would stop to smell them) I think that I've made enough sad posts in recent times to warrant this, where I list the positives of my situation. I ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO DO THE SAME. IN FACT, I'VE TURNED THIS INTO A MEME. LIST AS MANY GOOD THNGS ABOUT YOUR LIFE AS YOU CAN THINK OF.
-I once again live close enough to my school that I don't have to get up at too-early o'clock in order to be at school on time.
-This house has A POOL. Although I need a new bathing suit, it's nice to have a pool.
-That school is actually ON a college campus and as long as I can actually get into the classes I'm allowed to take college courses.
-If I do take college courses, the tuition is only $10. DUDE, THAT'S A FREAKING GOOD DEAL.
-I don't have to leave this laptop. WOOHOO I DON'T HAVE TO PART WITH MY DOWNLOADS (Sherlock, I'm looking at you!)
-Ummmm....I'll probably get to start volunteering at the library (well, I WILL eventually, I need volunteer hours to graduate)
-MAYBE, MAYBE, MAYBE I'LL EVEN GET TO VOLUNTEER AT AN ANIMAL SHELTER (Since my grandma doesn't like animals, I'd look forward to that, no matter how sad it actually is)
-I know that my family loves me. (This seems like nothing but I'm sad to say that I've known someone who actually had to move away because his grandma didn't want him anymore. WE ONLY KNEW HIM FOR TWO DAYS AND YET WE STILL MOURNED FOR THE LOSS OF HIS FRIENDSHIP. And also the chance to pin him down and put his hair in braids. WOW, ME AND MY FRIENDS WERE ABUSIVE.)
-When I make friends at this new school, they'll probably be smarties too and so I won't have to deal with as many lazy do-nothings who sit around in class and do nothing :DDD *crosses fingers*
-I'M SO CLOSE TO GETTING CAUGHT UP ON DOCTOR WHO.
-At the orientation yesterday, a bunch of students talked about how at first they didn't want to go to that school but they ended up loving it. (One guy said that at first he was trying to be cool, had a mohawk and everything. "But then I realized that I didn't have to be anyone but myself. Also, I ran out of hair gel." LAWL XD) SO NOW I'M HOPEFUL.
-Every grade is divided into four houses. GUYS, I DON'T WANT TO GIVE OUT TOO MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT WHERE I AM, SO THE SCHOOL'S NICKNAME IS GONNA BE HOGWARTS, ALL RIGHT? YOU GUYS GOT THAT?
-ALL YOU PEOPLE ON MY FLIST. YOU ARE ALL AMAZING AND I LOVE YOU ALL.
