First of all, I am always a big fan of your writing, and Rachel/Mercedes is one of my favorite ships! :DDDDDDD

Second of all, this somehow managed to exceed my expectations. You write everyone so, so well. Your Mercedes voice is perfection- the moment that cinched it was your interpretation of The Comeback- "it's hard to push things like that away when there's no one else to push with you". Just heartbreaking, and exactly how I interpret Mercedes' mix of confidence and vulnerability. Also, Rachel and her slumber party anecdote. Her vulnerability, and the way she simply can't help but inject a backhanded compliment and a bit of narcissism into every conversation, makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time. (And lol, Sue, Kurt, and the Santana/Mercedes implications, I see you).

I think my favorite aspect of this fic was the way you took several episodes that in some ways seemed to regress the Rachel/Mercedes friendship and made it work flawlessly. Their reactions to each other, and Mercedes' actions and characterization

This was so wonderful! Your characterization for everybody is so spot on, and I think you have the best feeling for overall characterization out of all the writers i've read in this fandom. The way you built upon Mercedes and Rachel's friendship by weaving canon moments and the events surrounding them was so well done, and I very much enjoyed reading Mercedes conflicted feelings toward Rachel. They have an interesting, adversarial friendship, and I'd definitely read more about them from you. ♥

I'd started listing out scenes that I thought were funny/IC/especially noteworthy, but I was like literally summarizing the whole fic, so I just stopped.

As always, your Rachel is wonderfully cray, your Mercedes is the perfect balance between Only Sane Woman and kinda ridic, your Sue was perfect, and just every character who even made an appearance for even one scene sounded just like themselves. Just perfect. ♥
