The way Will treated Emma is reason enough for me. When they were dating (I think, I can't remember), Will let April sleep in bed with him and making out with Shelby.

Putting the marijuana in Finn's locker. When he teams up with Sue to get rid of Coach Beiste. Not respecting Carl's relationship with Emma.

I think there are countless reasons to hate Will. And I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. I enjoy flawed characters. It's just that the show doesn't seem to think that he's flawed, or at least it's not acknowledged in any real way. So my main reason for disliking the Will Schuester character is that he's painted as someone to look up to, to admire, a good guy, when a huge proportion of his actions are reprehensible. I've posted about this many times in many places so I'm going to do a straight lift of a paragraph I wrote elsewhere:

In the very first episode, Will plants drugs on a student and blackmails him into staying in an activity he didn’t want to take part in because he needs to keep him in Glee. (Some might say that this is not dissimilar to pretending to be pregnant in order to keep hold of a partner with a wandering eye, but whatever.) He lies to his wife about spending money, both on the running of the club and on a photo for the yearbook. He quite blatantly flirts with another woman while believing his wife ( ... )
