Dianna in The Romantics
Dianna has a role in The Romantics, a movie coming to theaters soon!! For Christmas, I got the book, and I've used IMDB to put two and two together and find out who Diana is going to play, and I have some thoughts on it, given the characterization of the girl in the book.
The movie focuses on a group of friends reuniting for a wedding between two of them about ten years after they graduate.
Dianna will be playing Minnow, the younger sister of the girl who is getting married. In the book, she's a pretty minor character. For the first half, she's said a few things and she's around a lot, but I've only read one major plot point with her...to be fair, I haven't finished the book.
What is interesting is that in the book, Minnow makes a statement about how she can't wait to be 14 or 15, meaning she is not currently.
There's NO WAY they'll have Dianna play someone that young, right? Has anyone else read the book? I know they almost always change stuff, but this seems like a silly fact to change for a movie.
