I didn't see this as physical abuse, so this piece is really more about psychological manipulation. It's in Puck's POV, and I hope you like it!
Kurt Hummel is tiny. Puck could crush him in one fist if he wanted to. He has wanted to. He’s done everything shy of that. But not now. Not ever again.
“Noah, there you are.” Kurt saunters up to him outside the building; in the same spot he waits for Kurt every day. And today, like every day, Puck takes Kurt’s bag from him, and any books he’s carrying in his hands. He carries them to Kurt’s locker, opens it, and prepares the bag with everything that Kurt will need until lunch. He walks Kurt to class, and then hands him his bag back. Puck stands at the door until Kurt dismisses him and he can go to his own class.
He slides into his seat in first period late today, because Kurt hadn’t dismissed him right away. Finn gives him a pitying look from the next seat over, but doesn’t say anything. He used to, but Kurt told Puck not to listen to Finn. Kurt told Puck not to listen to anyone who said that they shouldn’t be together because those people were either jealous or homophobic or both. So Puck had stopped listening, and Finn had stopped talking. Kurt said it was better that way. That all they needed was each other. Puck agreed. He loves Kurt, and Kurt loves him. That’s all that matters. And if he wants things to stay that way, he needs to do what Kurt says. Kurt’s smarter and more talented, and he’s going to get out of Lima. And when he does, he’ll take Puck with him, and they’ll be together forever. That’s what matters. So what if Kurt’s a little bossy? Puck’s just a dumb jock, so he needs someone to tell him what to do.
“Noah, what are you doing?” Kurt’s sharp tone snaps him out of his reverie. “Are you thinking? Because, Noah, you know the rules. What’s your role?”
“To do things for you. To show you how much I love you.”
“And how do you know what to do? How do you know how to show me that you love me?”
“You tell me. You show me. You love me.”
Kurt grins. “You’re absolutely right, Noah. So there’s no reason for you to be thinking. You let me do all of that hard work for you. It’s the least I can do for the man I love.”
Noah feels like his smile is splitting his face in half. Kurt says that he loves him so rarely that it’s precious when he does.
“Of course, that doesn’t change the fact that you were daydreaming and therefore didn’t pick me up from class.” Kurt says. “You’ll have to be punished for that later. Perhaps we’ll use the handcuffs. We haven’t used those in a while, and they’re so effective, aren’t they, Noah? Remind you of where you’d be if not for me, yes?”
“Yes, absolutely.” Noah says, taking Kurt’s bag from him and following him out of the classroom.
Kurt Hummel is tiny, and Puck could crush him with his fist if he wanted to. But it’s Kurt who’s got Puck wrapped around his little finger.
