All about Magicwoman.

magicwoman was the first person to ever friend me out of the blue. It was a total shock to me. I had no idea who she was. After doing research, I was even more confused.Susan had worked at the Fringe Festival, gotten hooked on Vilification Tennis, started reading
theseamster's journal and from there she read
petsnakereggie's journal. Then she got to mine. Mine? Really? Did she get confused and pick the wrong journal? Was she looking for one of the Vilification Ladies and clicked really wrong? I even asked
petsnakereggie what he thought. He assured me that Susan was a nice lady who must have seen something interesting in my journal (Mine? Really?) and that people do this all the time on LiveJournal. So, I Shut up and friended her back. After all, she appeared to have friended half of LJ already...one stay-at-home-daycare-mom couldn't mess things up too horribly.

I have since learned more about the wonderful person Susan is. She is a posting maniac, she seems to be able to keep up with everyone too. She has 37 Scrabulous games going on Facebook and she manages to get her work done as well. She amazes me.

Then there is her external life. Work, volunteering at Fringe, at the Art Museum, seeing shows, knitting, singing in a choir. Her posts rarely have anything to do with sitting at home and doing laundry all weekend.

Mostly, Susan is so much fun to communicate with. I get a kick out of the recipes she finds and posts, the words of the day, the songs she has stuck in her head as well as the everyday posts about life and happiness.

Squishy and I had gone to Downtown St. Paul to see Susan in the Wells Fargo Choir and go to the Children's Museum. I figured out who she was really quickly, and she figured out who we were even though I hadn't mentioned that I was coming. We didn't get to say hello in person since a 3-yr-old's idea of listening to a concert is about 30 minutes shorter than length of the concert.

When we were finally talked on the phone, we talked for over an hour.  (For my sarcastic friends, who know me too well, the conversation was not just me babbling her ear off.  It was an actual two way conversation...I can have those)  It really was like we had been friends forever.

She was able to come to my Birthday Party as well. She even helped out in the kitchen during it. Here she was, first time at my house, had just officially met me in RL, and she is squirting pudding in the cupcakes. She didn't even register it as a failure in my hosting skills.

We were even born in the same Air Force Base Hospital in Warner Robbins, Georgia. That's just freaky!

Keep it up
magicwoman! You are a strong and vibrant woman with a great sense of humor and a kind heart! You are an inspiration!
