A post about MNFiddledragon
I was introduced to
mnfiddledragon through
coulbauth and
onyxspydyr. Primarily, our contact was mostly about the schlepping about of
mystrycat and mystrycat's birthday parties.
After I joined LJ and was friended by
mnfiddledragon, I started learning much more about this wonderful lady and her children.
At first I was scared and yet awed by the sheer amount of computer geekery this lady is able to create and understand. Now I accept that as one of many amazing aspects of her life.
mnfiddledragon has the fantastic ability to be able to find balance in her life. The last couple of years has been very challenging for her. Yet, she is careful to keep an eye on balancing her hobbies, relationships, health issues, work and time with her children. She seems to find that balance with the help of her family and friends.
On the issues of her Hobbies. The few times I was able to watch her play fiddle at the maypole out at Fest were amazing. The bodice work she has done for Festival and for her daughter's dance group is awe inspiring. She understands the hard work and dedication that it takes to be successful at anything you do. At the same time, she is not afraid to try new things, or to go back to the hobbies that didn't seem to work well the first time through.
On the issue of Parenting, MFD is clearly passing that work ethic and dedication down to her children. I admire how she can step back and teach her children how to balance their lives as well. I find MFD to be an amazing mother. Open, caring, loving, fun and funny with a really good handle on the kind of focus, discipline and advocacy it takes to raise healthy adults.
On top of that, she is open, loving, kind, generous, gentle, enthusiastic and unafraid to defend and discuss her choices in every aspect of her life. She is the kind of person who is always asking questions and therefore actually has answers about her choices.
Her entire family have opened their arms to us and have included us into their wide and loving circle of friends. I enjoy the enthusiasm for life that the the Dragonsept Household has discovered. The smiling, leaping children coming to answer the door, the laughter that seems to fill the entire house and the contentment that infuses the entire atmosphere around them.
I feel lucky that
mnfiddledragon has allowed me witness her amazing life.
