The horrors of "[insert controversial statement]. Discuss." essays and the US election

The word "Discuss" in an essay title is a disgusting term and whoever came up with it should have been shot on the spot. I do tend to moan about essays, don't I? I suppose I've made my bed and I should lie in it. Still, once I'm finished with the Glass Menagerie, I will be ever so, ever so happy. It's the most depressing thing I've ever had the

You shouldn't bash Americans for having stupid people in their country, because, sadly, we have just as many who will take an equally ridiculous line of logic when it comes to voting in the priminister.

The BBC won't let me enjoy the pleasures of topless RA due to being in a foreign country. Bugger them.

"The unicorn is symbolic of Laura’s broken hopes. In the play, many hopes and dreams are broken, especially in relation to love. Discuss."

Maybe I shouldn't bash the Americans. I will, however, bash you: the PRIME MINISTER, my love. Prime as in numero uno.

I saw the movie Equilibrium last night in HD on a huge wide screen TV! Bloody fantastic movie - better then the first Matrix film, largely due to Christian Bale's fantastic central performance compared to K.Reeves being standardly bland. Totally recommend it to the family.

I need to finish aforementioned essay (hah, have done basically nothing today), come to think of it. It's evil and nasty and I hate it.

OK, Friday 19th of December is when I can depart - anytime. As for going back, it depends on the date of my January exams and I don't know those yet, all I know is it will be sometime after the 6th of Januray (unhelpful for booking flights I know).
