Math Makes My Head Hurt...
There's a new Lexus commerical airing now. Basically, the gist of it is that a Lexus will be dropped from a helicopter from a height of about 4,000 feet. Another Lexus on the ground is said to be able to travel the same distance faster than the falling Lexus.
If you assume that terminal velocity for the falling Lexus is 120mph, and the Lexus on the ground can reach 60mph in 5.3 seconds (taken from the Lexus website for the Lexus IS350), then...
then...
When I 'figured it out' earlier, it would seem that the Lexus on the ground would still need to travel 1,000 more feet by the time the falling Lexus hit the ground. I think.
I hate math...
