(no subject)
Okay so someone had told me that the alternate ending to 'I am Legend' didn't really make much of a difference and so I'd never bothered to watch it before now. The ending totally changes the whole point of the movie and should definitely be seen! I can understand maybe they didn't want to give spoilers but honestly. It's actually where I expected the movie to go the first time I saw it.
So the PNE was great! I also did some shopping as our gorgeous hotel was right on Robson St., so I got a bunched, pinstripe skirt and a new dress-style jacket like the one I gave to Steph a while ago. Brock and I also hit a lolita store where I got a new black and white dress. ^.~
I finally cleaned up my desk today, so I can actually see it again! School starts next week (oh god), and I've almost got everything ready. Class registration, textbooks, parking, I could do with some new pens, but the kind I wanted weren't being sold at the bookstore so I'll have to do a Staples run (which I would have found an excuse to do anyway...mmm, stationery).
Our lab work is getting on as well - today was depressing because all the assemblies and transformations we did yesterday didn't grow. We're also stalled because one of our neccessary gene parts just isn't working, but thankfully we now have lab space for the fall so we can keep working. We've ordered some replacement parts, but if those take too long, or still don't work, we have some work-around ideas.
I've still got a lot of television to catch up on before school, but I've made a dent. And then I got distracted by Futurama and the episode with the dog that I had never seen before! Someone referenced it as their favourite and I'd missed it. It didn't bump my favourite couple romantic episodes(holophoner+stars+bee sting) but it's next on the list! That's one series I should definitely buy at some point.
