Back to the doctor
Since I have been home, my left ankle and foot have started swelling up. Nothing huge, but worrying. As this was the first clue that I had a heart problem. I have dull intermittent aches over my heart and a slight difficulty breathing. Added together I am getting a bit concerned. So back to the doctors. The pains could be the result of the Cath. He was probing about in the arteries. But I think maybe I should not play doctor. Women's symptoms of heart disease are very different then the classic men's symptoms. Most women never experience the pain in the left arm, chest area at all. And most doctors are not trained to detect the symptoms woman display. So the woman just go wandering about with the feeling that all is not right, until they drop.
Any way I don't want this to turn into a drama. But I have a feeling the doctor may admit me back into the hospital. This isn't my cardiogist, he only does surgery. My family doctor is also a cardiogist. And I have a feeling he will not be happy with my niggling symptoms. I will cross my fingers and see what happens :-) My daughter is driving me to the doctor. umm yes well that should ok :-D
