Dear Yuleauthor,

First of all, YAAAY! The fact that you are familiar with any of these fandoms is completely marvelous! Thanks so much for writing for me. I'm sure I'll love whatever it is you come up with!

I'm gonna ramble a lot under the cut. You may or may not be a writer who likes detailed prompts, so feel free to take or discard as much of this as you would like!

General: I like pretty much everything, but am not crazy about the total extremes of the angst-to-schmoop spectrum. Angst is fine, happiness is fine, but please no total annihilation of my soul or my molars. I only speak English and Spanish, so if you want to include other languages (and please do!) translations would be greatly appreciated. One squick: I really can't stand adultery plots. Complicated and unhappy relationships are great (I mean, not great, but fun to read about), conflicting feelings about multiple people are great, compromises or understandings or anything are great, but please no sneaking-around-behind-significant-other's-back-waiting-to-get-caught.

More totally optional thoughts if you're really stuck: I love stories about relationships, which doesn't necessarily mean romantic or sexual but rather the dynamics of people with histories who know one another well. I like getting-together stories just as much as the next person. I love stories about exes, though that may make more sense in some of my requested fandoms (*coughATKMcough*) than others. I like queer things! Feel free to give any character any sort of identity under the broad queer umbrella if that is something you are interested in. I'm pretty neutral about porn: I enjoy it when done well but certainly don't see it as a necessary part of a story! (No PWP, please.)

And now, fandoms!

GGK: Sarantine Mosaic

I am completely in love with and fascinated by the Hippodrome factions. The chariot racing itself is fantastic, if you want to write about that, but I would be just as happy with the world of the compounds. Hierarchies, community, strategy, politics, daily life, anything. Some characters I love are: Scortious, Astorgus, Strumosus, Kyros, Taras. OOCs are cool as well. Anywhere before, during, or after the books would be fine. Any pairing you like, or gen. No pressure for historical accuracy. :-)

RPF- All The King's Men

Oh my god, no matter what you write in this fandom I will DIE because it is the rarest of the rare. Seriously. I love this group so, so much. Ensemble fic would be great, character study would be great, things that engage with issues of gender and sexuality, group dynamic fic. I love complicated interpersonal relations of people who really know each other, romantic or otherwise. Also, any AU of this group would be A+++.

Dil Chahta Hai

This will probably come as no surprise: what I love about this movie is the relationship between the three friends. Anything exploring that would be wonderful! I would love it if you wanted to queer it up in any way, any character(s) or pairing(s) or moresome(s), but it's also totally fine if you don't want to go that route. It's all awesome: pre-movie, post-movie, during-movie, wives and het included or no. I'd just really love to see something further exploring the dynamics between the three of them and how much they mean to each other.
[For the record, I believe there is a grand total of one DCH fic in existence. It lives here: http://community.livejournal.com/bolly_fics/40658.html. It is an awesome fic and I am linking it here both so you can read it, awesome person interested in this fandom, and also because it would be cool to get something that wasn't by some total freak chance the exact same idea. Not that it isn't a great idea! Not that you couldn't do something 98% the same and it would be awesome (seriously, I'm not saying, like, don't write about Sid being queer)! But, you know, at the rate of one fic per year it would be cool to have them not be cookie cutters. Does that make any sense? Is that a terrible request to make? Man, this is a long bracketed note.]

Feel free to use or ignore as you feel fit! I'd much rather have you write something that you really enjoy and feel passionate about than follow a prompt you don't love to the letter. Whatever you do, I'm sure I'll enjoy it just for being in one of these tiny tiny fandoms! THANK YOU!
