Just heard on the radio...
Aggressive-voiced Woman from a small town in the midwest Oregon that was not affected by 9/11: "I don't think he was quick enough! We should have been in there on 9/14! Ahuhuhuhuhuhuhuh!"
British Journalist: "So President Bush wasn't strong enough?"
Aggressive-voiced Woman: "I mean, they declared war on us. Y'know?"
British Journalist: [incredulous laughter] "Iraq didn't declare war on anybody! That was Al-Qaeda!"
Aggressive-voiced Woman: [flippantly] "I don't care. They're from there. KILL them."
Arrrgh!!! It makes me so mad! The only way to reach people like that is to inflict suffering on them.
