It's funny, usually Saturday is our worst performance because the actors subconsciously don't care anymore, or we're just ready to get it over with, but last night we were AT THE TOP OF OUR GAME!!!!! Spent the day at the school for set construction. I had the honor of making Sister Amnesia's book stand for the Baking With The BVM scene. I need to take a picture and post it up here because it's so pitiful-looking. It hardly resembles a book stand, half the screws aren't even in all the way. Play practice today was most enjoyable. We ran through our finale song Holier Than Thou, which is this big gospel number, and it is sooo much fun to sing! (I've got a belting solo bit, oh yeah.) Well, I took my laptop into school on Thursday to finish typing up my essay for English and forgot it in the back room of the library. Then when I went to get it today the room was locked so I'm stuck all weekend on the family computer. :P Bummer, I was hoping to get on aim too. At least it's safe, Mrs. Gehlmann knows I have it in there.
