I was at a birthday party/house warming last night and it was amazing! The home was built in the 1930's and they renovated it. The entire home was filled with candles, the dining room table covered in banana leaves as the table cloth and Asian food was everywhere! The gals brother did the cooking and he is very talented! Coconut, tamarind, chilis, garlic, limes... holy moly! Of course there was plenty of wine to fill up our tummies too! In addition to the cool ambiance & funky music the hostess hired a pychic to do readings, very unusual! I have not been to such a lovely party in years! Just what I needed!
