Tommy had first thought this guy- Sutan- would definitely have his work cut out for him when Ashley asked with defiant crossed arms, "So you're here to make me look pretty?"
"I'm here to help you make an impression," was his answer with a smirk, and then Tommy could sense they were in good hands.
Which turned out to be literal. Call it years of poverty from living in the lowest of the low districts, but neither of them had seen material fly under anyone's hands or tools with such dexterity. It was a pleasant distraction from their situation's reality.

The pair first experienced wide-eyed worry when they saw their outfits were nothing more than a standard black suit and dress, save for thin wires coiling the fabric.
Sutan knelt behind them so they couldn't see him or what he was doing in the reflection, and only heard a, "Now don't freak out," before a faint hissing sound.
And then the wires...glowed? No, beyond glowing, as the material appeared to burst into flame. There was a gasp of terror from the young tributes before the realization of no pain.
Only power.
"Now that is how you blow everybody away."
