I suddenly understand daemons so much better.

Honestly, all of a sudden. I don't really have the time - or, probably, the vocabulary in any language - to properly explain, but...yeah, I've always gotten it (I'm talking Philip Pullman's version), obviously, but it all of a sudden - explains - things - makes so much more - sense.
