Today I went to physical therapy for my TMJ..I had to stop wearing the splint thing after a couple days cause it just wasn't agreeing with me (I didn't like it either haha). I got my TMJ bite block thing today. It's weird and thick haha. They did a lot of adjustments when I came it so it would fit right and be comfortable. It was definitely challenging talking at first but it's gotten a lot better even though I haven't even worn it that long haha. This morning I saw the orthodontist for my TMJ..they took x-rays and measurements and stuff. They had mouth numbing stuff so I wouldn't gag when they put stuff in my mouth..LOVE it haha. Symptoms associated with TMJ disorders may be:

* Biting or chewing difficulty or discomfort
* Clicking, popping, or grating sound when opening or closing the mouth
