I met with Regine today (lots of squeeing! Hee :D). She said the Black Rapids Glacier idea was good but would be too big for the grant money I would get (like it would take years to do), plus Black Rapids is hard to get to. Sam (the guy who came into class and talked about his research) emailed me back! He linked me to a couple sites..you apply for a grant once you figure out a research topic. I showed Regine (the glaciers professor) the email and said to come up with idea, apply and if I get the grant she'll help me design the project. Awesomeee. The deadline is next ( Read more... )
