Should Karla eventually get taken outside by her friends, maybe on the way back she'll come across the puck. A familiar face, one she's shared a stage with in the past, but not someone she's intimate with.
Nonetheless, Robin is not one to forget a pretty visage, so he'll pause in shuffling the cards he had in his hands, and give her a friendly greeting.
Karla startles a little at being greeted, still kind of - distant and drifting. She turns to look at him and finds a bit of a smile, though it's a surprisingly weak thing, strange on her bright and normally vivacious face.
She blinks at him a little, as though mildly confused by his question. "Going - no, not really. Just kind of - out." She tries to smile a bit more, makes herself focus. "How've you been?"
Small talk is never easy for her, and it seems more strained at the moment.
"Fine," is Robin's automatic answer, and it's, well, mostly true - though he's still a bit sore-hearted himself. "It's been a while," he says again. "You okay?"
She glances away. Karla is, for all her glib tongue and quick talking, not a very good liar, when it comes to things that matter, and she knows it. "--I'm all right," she decides, finally. "It's - all right."
Robin raises his eyebrows slightly, then nods. "Sure is," he replies, though he can tell it isn't. "Hey, it's been a while - wanna hang out? I'm just trying to kill time, here."
She blinks at him a little, once again seeming a little bewildered, but to say no - would only mean going back, sitting alone in her room feeling empty. She nods, just a little. "--me too. That'd be - all right."
Robin has a good nose, he does. And Karla blinks at his arm for a moment, and folds hers around herself. "No," she says, after a moment, aware she's probably being unkind, but - "No, she won't. Just - just the walk."
It's probably in part the smile, actually. She's seen a lot of charming smiles.
"Alright," Robin replies easily, and look, he puts his hands in his pockets, to show that he's not going to try anything funny. "Walking's good - one of those things most people can do without too much trouble. Anywhere you'd like to go in particular? The lake's nice, but might have to deal with some spring bugs..."
"Not the lake," she says, quickly. Too many memories. "The other way - anywhere else. Not tonight." She glances away, momentarily, her own arms wrapped protectively around herself.
"All right," she says, after a moment. "That's - fine. I suppose." She tries to pretend she was joking, donning a deliberately imperious expression momentarily. Or trying.
Nonetheless, Robin is not one to forget a pretty visage, so he'll pause in shuffling the cards he had in his hands, and give her a friendly greeting.
"Hey there! Long time no see!"

"--it has been, hasn't it? Afternoon..."

"Yeah, you too," he replies. "Going somewhere?" She looks in a hurry. Or preoccupied. Or sad. Either way, he's trying to weasel her into conversation.
Just out of the goodness of his soul, he swears.

He bows with a little flourish, gives her a charming smile. "The lady honors me," he quips. "Will the lady honor me twice and accept my arm?"

It's just a random path that goes through a clearing and nowhere important.
