The graduation ceremony had certainly been...interesting. Not quite what he had expected, but everything turned out okay.
Except that he now had a different landscape to study. Intriguing. He might have to see what was out there. Once he figured out a way to disguise himself, that is. An alien walking through Greece? Probably would attract some attention.
He was still thinking about his conversation with Amber yesterday. And still trying to decide what to do for her late! birthday. That's when he realized that his own wasn't too far off. Not that he'd ever celebrated it much. There had always been more pressing matters at hand.
Still, he wondered if he should do something about it now.
