CAT & MOUSE
Small-time villain Mark Grant was a daring cat burglar, known within the underworld as Cat, before he was inducted into a criminal organisation. He met pickpocket and jazz singer Stephanie Wald, who would become his cohort known as Mouse, upon his entry to the criminal crew. In a change of heart, Cat and Mouse united and worked alongside the Scourge of the Underworld to overthrow the crimelord who had owned them, free from his control they made their way to reforming their lives as allies of Scourge.
That's who they where. What can be done with them?
Think within the lines of the classic noir storylines. Mark is now a detective in his own right, take them out of New York City and ship 'em over towards Boston or Houston or the like. He's making a name for himself and he's kept his secret well-hidden, then we shoot over to his former comrade, Stephanie, and see she's made a career of her music and gained wealth from it. What if the Scourge where to go missing? With Cat's skills and Mouse's wealth could they find the man who led them from the darkness?
Now, they're leaving their lives behind and transforming into bounty hunters. They need to find Scourge, but how can you find a man with only an alias? Since his disapperance, the criminal underworld has been overflowing and gangs threaten every street corner. Cat and Mouse are the only ones who can tackle the job that needs done, relying on the very instincts that set them on par with the criminals, they must make something better of themselves.
They are the unsung heroes.
They are Cat & Mouse.
