So after all you told me about this, I had to come and check it out. And I'm so glad I did, because this is a great start. :)

This really exemplifies what I love about Trek fandom...even somewhat cracky premises are completely plausible. I'll admit I know little about Transformers, though I did see both movies. But your Bones voice is fantastic...his rant about Southerners and the cold is spot on. His banter with Jim was great, as well. I can't wait to see where you take this.

(Also, I'm friending you at this journal. I thought I already had, but apparently not. So now I won't miss when you update. :D )

Glad you like it! This one started going in my head right after I saw the reboot, and I swear it was trying to bore a hole out through my skull with its insistence I write it.

The "Southern Rant" was totally random, but I thought quite fitting. I'm happy I got Bones' voice right, but it wasn't really that much a stretch for me. Snarky sarcasm is my thing! As of now, I don't know where I'm going with this, but I do know it's demanding a longer, plotted story than just a couple of crack chapters.
