Wow, this gave me a shiver.
Leaders are always under the magnifying glass and no one really considers their feelings. It's nice to be appreciated.

I think most of humanity, and even the closest NEST members to Optimus forget sometimes that the Autobots' home world has been completely destroyed. It takes the term "refugee" into a whole new dimension, and yet here's humanity, wondering what they can take from the new alien species. I think Optimus does his best to balance the equation, but sometimes he just needs a little pick-me-up, yanno? Figured I'd give it to him.

*snatches gold star and scurries away gleefully*

Glad you enjoyed it. This might become a series of oneshots, since it was so much fun to write.
