Author’s Note: I hope you all find that this chapter was worth the wait. It's massive, and there will be a part 2 hopefully next week.

I so loved this chapter and I'm very glad, there will be even more. Sounds very promising, since I already loved this chapter.

You did a great job catching the first true talk between Ziva and Ironhide, letting them more or less slowly discover they have some things in common. I really liked the talk, because it was very fitting to their character, they learnt some important things about each other and it showed both of them are having humour. It's always easy to forget even 'Hide has a right to have humour. And I loved the little teasing, because of the watchhorse/watchdog thingie, very Ziva-like.

Oh... and 'Hide got punished for his little outrage in an earlier chapter? They were pretty harsh... poor 'Hide. Although I can understand, if they were a bit... unhappy about his behaviour.

And McGee ends being loved as the "little, naive boy" by everyone again, doesn't he? It's a very fitting description of his character, he IS naive otherwise Tony would have more difficulties to prank him...
Apropos Tony:
I'm really curious what you have planned for him and the little troublemakers. Has Tony finally found his masters? If the others are lucky, the twins will have too much fun annoying Tony and not cooperating with him. DiNozzo + Twins, that would be really bad for the nerves.

I really like it, how you are putting more and more little details to the characterizations of the characters, like the DVD given to Gibbs via Lennox from Optimus. Although I doubt anyone is doubting the fact Optimus has humour, otherwise the twins would spend their lifetime in the brig. I loved his interaction with the twins and Tony, I hope he knows, what he is doing.

I also like your way to describe the twins, they didn't seem too stupid, just young and careless and naive.

Great chapter, I really liked it and I'm curious too see more as always.

One little thing, the world is older than 9 million years, I'm not sure about the right word in english but it's around 4.500.000.000.000.000 years.

The evil plot bunny strikes again. I didn't want to cut the chapter short, and I wanted to do it justice. Hence, the part 2 next week.

Ziva and Ironhide have way more in common than they realize or that they probably should (you know, for the safety of the planet). Both are intensely private beings, so opening up to another about what they feel is tough. I'm glad it came across the right way. I personally think Ironhide has the best sense of humour out of anyone in the group, but he has more of an image to uphold that Optimus does.

'Hide has quite mastered the human art of deception yet. He's just too blunt, and he forgets how crafty humans can be. He'd do well to remember that, especially with a temper like his. Even so, the soldiers were...enthusiastic with his punishment. For the record, yes, it was punishment for his range tantrum in chapter 2. So far, you're the only one that's caught that. :)

How can anyone not love McGee? He even warms Ratchet's wrench throwing processor with joy. With Tony and the Minor Twins, suffice to say that it's either going to be a spectacular friendship, or a spectacular explosion when Ironhide gets his hands on them. Or both. I haven't yet decided. Poor Optimus. Once again: Twins and New Squishy: 1; Big Bot Sanity: 0.

See, with the twins, that's how I saw them when I watched the movie: naive, impatient, brash, not wise enough to be wary, but just not stupid. I think they're far from it, and I think the way they act helps them with the fact they're young and forced to be in a war. Why everyone had their panties in a bunch over them is beyond me. (And for the record, I'm a mixed race minority.)

Finally, I thought I deleted that little bit about the solar system before I posted. I checked, found I was wrong, and then deleted it. I must have forgotten to hit save. As Optimus said: "Sorry, my bad." I'll fix that here shortly. Once again, thanks for the review!

I think the planets safety is the less important issue, not in any real danger, but the sanity of their friends would be doomed, if this two are going to become close friends.
The problem with 'Hide is, is he joking or is he not? I suppose he isn't entirely serious with a lot of threats (except for 'Cons)

Humans can be very, very vengeful, especially considering their sleep :P

I can think of a few, who don't like McGee. I'm looking forward to Tony & minor Twins, Optimus didn't know what he has set in motion I'm afraid...

I just don't get the point with the hate for the twins *shrugs* I was really surprised about it, when I heard of it, since I never thought of them like that.

Don't worry, it's just a very minor thing and such things can happen. It's no big deal. :)

Optimus thought pairing the twins and DiNozzo would be a great idea to keep them entertained. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. If it fails, it'll be EPIC. One thing is for sure: Prime had NO idea what he did. None. Period.

I think Ironhide, as you said, is serious with this threats toward 'Cons. Everyone else is another story, however. He uses his reputation as 'Con Smasher Extroidenaire to his advantage to make the other 'bots think he's going to turn them into rubble when he's pissed. But, I think with the Autobots, he's often a lot of bark and much less bite. The trick with him is figuring out when he's barking and when's he's biting because when he bites, it's gonna hurt.

Yeah. I saw the movie and then read all the negative press about the twins on the internet. I never once felt like they were a racist portrayal of a stereotype. For god's sake, one of the guys that voiced the twins is black. You'd think if he were offended, he wouldn't have done the job. *shrugs in response* I dunno. I don't get it. IT'S A MOVIE ABOUT GIANT FIGHTING ROBOTS! Get over it.
