I decline to have my GSR stories nominated this year.

I am just back from vacation and I know I have some responses from my previous post to answer!  I am not ignoring anyone and I thank you all for the great suggestions.  If anyone on my buddy list hasn't seen or answered my previous post, please take a look-all ideas on new memorizing projects are greatly appreciated!

I am respectfully asking my friends NOT to nominate any of my GSR stories/drabbles this year.  The whole break up on the show threw my writing ability into the toilet.  I am hoping to go back this winter and tweak 'The Destination'.

While the couple of things I have written in the last year have not been disgustingly horrible, since a story can only be nominated once, I would like the chance to review and change things around when I am not so depressed about the real CSI storyline!  My GSR stories from the last year remind me of Star Trek III.  Definitely not as good as Star Trek II but not as miserable as Star Trek V - the movie that never should have been made.

In no way am I boycotting the fan fic awards!!  I have volunteered to be a tally again and I do have some stories I am planning to nominate.  I am also planning to approach a Lady Heather forum and see if I can get people from that camp involved in the fan fic awards and I may end up with some of my Kessom work nominated.

On another note, while I don't think this would cause a stampede, last October I co-wrote a humor story with
hunterseaker.  While we put our individual touches to it and it is the same premise but posted in different place under different titles.  I ask anyone who considering nominating 'An Error of Brass Proportions' to please nominate her version of our collaboration this year rather than mine!  It can be found here:

Thanks so much for understanding.  Now bring on the happy camper OCD....oh, wait-I have a couple of weeks before voting begins.  DRAT!
