Scarnight, and then Iron Angel and God of Clocks! A must. It's wonderfully dark, vivid and complex and the characters, the plot and the world. ♥

Then Swordspoint, for the language, the diversity of characters, the twists of plots~.

These two stand out the most, for me, right now. XD

Uh. I'm out of it today. I'll bug you about it if something comes up.

(I wasn't all that impressed with After dark. It was ok, but not amazing.)

Mhm. Like I say, it's not an OMG RIGHT NOW NEED BOOKS INSTANTLY sort of thing. But my reading list has become mysteriously a lot shorter than I expected it to any time soon. Admittedly it's probably still long by normal-people standards but I'm... not normal people, especially not about reading. Oops.

(Possibly just as well. When Murakami is amazing he tends to BREAK ME and... er. The shojou manga of angst and doom has done that enough for now. *laughs*)

I'm enjoying Juliet Marillier's Wildwood Dancing. I like the universe and the mix of mythologies.
