Ehhhhhhhhh
Well I am finally placed on orders (since the 5th) and thus I am finally getting paid as a louie. It only took them two months to get everything straight with that and a total of four months with my regular unit to get me paid at all. Being a platoon leader for a group of combat medics ain't easy...even though I only have a handful of people there are so many issues to work out, not that I mind it but it is a full time job alone to ensure everything goes alright.
I've also been tasked out recently with another officer to be responsible for annual training for about 35 people....let's just say there is a shit load of work to be done here too due to improper planning of the higher uppers.
Soon I will be working my forty hours a week in Austin and on top of that an unknown amount of hours to ensure that training is properly planned for annual training and on top of that ensure that all the medics are MOSQ/properly certified and are getting what they need.
Damn I hope that things pan out.
