It was shameful, really, how neglectful of her duties she'd been. Rosalind rationalized the fact that checking in on some of her people was not being remiss at all and, after meeting with
Katniss, she entered her room.
A check under the bed proved that
Elena and Rookie were sleeping for the moment, well and good enough.
Taking off her jacket, though leaving the rest of her uniform, including the tie, on properly, Rosalind settled herself at her desk and finished up her report. She'd done some of it last night, and more of it that morning. All it really needed now was a proof-reading and a few final conclusions.
Then she sent it off.
Duty done. She idly considered the book (the very bad book) momentarily before opening a new document and beginning the painstaking work of setting it up exactly how she liked it for the next week's work.
