been up cleaning.thinking about watching the Christmas episode of Invader zim.
it seems as if the house hold has not been in a really festive mood this month.
we didnt even make an effort to put the tree up.this time of year is always so hard on my mom especially.
i did manage to decorate the Akhu shrine.thumb tacked some Christmas ornaments above.and i found a red candle to place on it. um...i put little plastic reindeer on it. i think Yinepu actually likes having one near his statue...
or at least thats the impression i get from it.
then earlier while sweeping i came across an ornament that was apart of a collection my father had gotten me when i was a child. it was Ernie from Sesame street.so i cleaned it up and sat it on the shrine next to his pictures.
it made me smile a bit actually.
tonight i left them an offering too. peanut butter fudge.
at least they don't seem so distant.i can admit that putting the shrine together and adding things to it,tending to it.has helped a lot. and its like they are still here to an extent.
