Yay, mom and dad

I'm at my parents' house talking about a potential pattern of earthquakes around the Ring of Fire they've been noticing lately; we're native Californians so we get a little excitable about things like that. Apparently they've been watching the USGS websites and they're noticing a trend in quakes that started down in South America and seems to be slowly coming up the West Coast. I'm going to do a little more research to see if there's anything to these claims.

In (hopefully) unrelated news, I found a bottle of Jagermeister in their refrigerator. My parents are so weird.
