Awesome things
I was dragged mostly against my will to see the new Transformers movie yesterday and it was FUCKING AWESOME. Totally recommended. I was expecting some brainless animated something-or-other (not having television means not getting to see trailers) but it's clearly directed more at people old enough to remember the original toys and cartoon.
Fireworks were pretty and loud and awesome. We just watched from calmkelp's roof. The first irony when we arrived was that neighborhood buildings blocked, like, half of both shows. We all crowded onto the off-limits side of the roof, though, and had a pretty good view of the Lake Union set. I love fireworks.
I don't have trivia tonight so I'm torn between going to McLeod or cleaning my apartment. I suppose this shouldn't be a toss-up but my place is just getting a little skanky due to my never spending free time here.
