whee!
Friday: Failed attempt to see Ratatouille; vegging and stuff.
Saturday: To Apple store -- iPhone for calmkelp: No 8 gig ones left at University Village so we trekked to Lynnwood. Parking took longer than buying the damned thing. Then RATATOUILLE! I was not disappointed. Maybe not my favorite Pixar film ever but I definitely lol'ed. I went to herbaliser and velvet's house afterward to return/borrow more books and generally talk shit and stuff. Fun!
Sunday: Breakfast at 611 Supreme followed by more Apple Store, but this time for genius bar. La la la, then a nice leisurely drive all the hell around Seattle. Through the Arboretum (but I spent that part watching videos on the iPhone's YouTube so I guess it was probably pretty but who knows?) then through the pretty and wealthy neighborhoods surrounding it; through Madison Valley and Leschi and Beacon Hill and and and... SoDo then up to the two remaining places I've NEVER been in Seattle: Magnolia and the Ballard locks. Discovery Park reminded me of The Village. And the Little People of America are having their 2007 conference in Seattle this weekend! I saw a couple busloads of them at the locks.
Anyway, fun and fun and stuff and I'm so so happy to have a day off in the middle of the week! A day off with FIREWORKS!
Also, I stopped taking my medication like a week ago and I'm like a happier, more stoked version of myself. I love this.
