Anybody walk to work?

made me think about walking to work. I live 2 miles away from the university campus I work at. Well the beginning of the campus that is. Its another half a mile to my office. That's over 4 miles each day, 5 days a week.
Several years ago, there was an newspaper article about people that walk to work. More then you think. I remember they interviewed one women who walked 5 miles each way. I was hoping they had interviewed me :(
Well that was then. I bet there are more now because of the price of gas. I tried to google to try and find that newspaper article, but only found this
