• watched the metallica documentary some kind of monster tonight. metallica is a band i almost never listen to, but i read about the documentary somewhere and decided i had to watch it. so good! it was strangely reassuring to see super successful musicians feel like they were failing. plus, james hetfield and i have the same birthday, only he is 20 years older than i am.
• bought a ticket to see explosions in the sky on the afternoon (?) of sunday, april 13. the evening show was sold out and they added an afternoon show which i think is endearingly weird. plus both shows were only $12.50 for tickets. i love that they still charge that even though iron & wine is playing the next night and tickets are $26. total mindblower.
• wore these shoes to our awards dinner the other night, along with a burgundy one shoulder dress that jabe is sure is halston for jc penney. i felt like a million bones because jabe did my hair, makeup and outfit, which is good because i haven't really felt too good about much else lately !
• re-reading cunt in an attempt to embrace it after i wasn't too into it last time.
• i guess tonight the georgia dome got f'd up during the bama-mississippi game. my power went out during this storm and i can only imagine how many trash cans have slammed into my car. yikes !
