today i got to vote for a woman.
& then i had to come home and listen to her be denigrated by a group of white male pundits like a bunch of scared, pathetic little boys while they fall all over someone who, in my view, hasn't show all of his cards yet.
if obama is the nominee in november i will be behind him, of course, without question. but at this point i am not electing someone to make moving speeches for the next four years, i am electing someone to govern. i am so tired of having to defend why i am not supporting him at this point that it almost isn't worth talking about.
what's disturbing to me on a deeper level is that even though she won big states tonight, it was as if those wins couldn't even be celebrated, or seem important to chris matthews & the gang at msnbc. it's as if her wins don't even count as wins to them.
so after i'm done vomiting in my mouth over that whole scene, i'm going to bed. 9 more months of this, it's gonna be a fun ride.
