in the true spirit of my parents, i cleaned my apartment to steely dan this morning. a little michael mcdonald, kenny loggins, doobie brothers and hall & oates as well after the thrilling news of yacht rock episode 11. haha. one of my best childhood memories is of my parents on weekend mornings doing stuff around the house and the yard to steely dan, joni mitchell, the doobie brothers & king crimson. their love for steely dan was transferred to me in the womb, i think.

my apartment is now cleaner and in better shape than its been in months. i wonder how long it will last.

last night tera and i went to see bill clinton speak at kennesaw state university. we didn't get into the auditorium and instead had to watch a feed in another room, but it was still awesome. <3 bill forever. he was funny, serious, and super informative. then we went to mellow mushroom and had calzones. now i want another one and a big bowl of esperanza dressing to dip the crust in. ryan called their logo 'crucial' because the mushroom is not only tossing the dough but also peacin'.

also, after a year of being tethered to my modem cable, i bought a new wireless router. the ability to now use my laptop anywhere in my apartment is creepily exciting. i should've just bought one awhile ago and don't know why i didn't (probably bought plane tickets or records instead) and now the only thing i really need to not look like a refugee is a desk.

in two weeks i go to new york, and then i also bought tickets to go home over easter. obviously my going home has nothing to do with christianity (i seriously had to ask my mom if good friday was the one that came before easter sunday) and more to do with the fact that work gives us good friday off. i took off the following monday, so hello long weekend !!

my friend andy rolls into town for work tuesday and is here through sunday, so i assume we'll find a hill to drunkenly roll down and then shove grass into each others' mouths ! best !!

my family, bill clinton, ohio, dudes, atlanta, foodin, the internet, cleveland
