today in the mail (actually forwarded from cleveland to atlanta) i received a photo xmas card from pat's family with an update on what they are all doing. rather, what pat and his siblings are doing. i, of course, have mixed feelings about it.
in better news, the new issue of vanity fair has a 20 page article about the democratic party including a photo of my favorite user of the f-word. my newsweek (nerdweek) subscription has begun, and my stuff for my 401k and for my new bank account from washington mutual also came in the mail.
plus i got the dvd of the shirley chisholm documentary at work ! time to nerd out and pay bills tonight.
