what makes cancer tenacious?
it's funny that i was just trying to find dj shadow's building steam with a grain of salt, and found it on this blog which incidentally also features a track featuring one of my favorite columbus caricatures, al ! respect that dude's stats ! greatest quote from danielle kline: "i guess things really DO go better with al."
anyway, i know that its kind of played or whatever, but you can put anything to baltimore club breaks and i will love it. i was just listening to a mix that has "you can call me al" (IRONY!) remixed and i love it ! (other examples include the outfield's 'your love' and the marvelettes' 'mr postman') it's like how i'll also like anything if you make it a miniature (half size coke cans, etc.)
i have no idea where my boss is and there's stuff she has to see before monday ! plus i have to go out to run some errands (some work related, some not) and pick up megan at the airport ! geez !
oh, she's coming in late. cool.
megan and i have a pretty extensive list of things to do this weekend. see we are marshall (or stomp the yard, i've kind of been leaning toward the latter) at the drive-in, go to mjq, go to charis the feminist bookstore, eat good foodz, watch the spike lee documentaries on katrina and the birmingham church bombing, go see klever spin, dance, drink, etc. it's going to be exhausting.
