been reading ed/winry fanfics all weekend, which is my new obsession, and i completely blame asakurabratty for that ¬_¬ i wasn't going to see FMA at first (didn't seem too interesting) but then i heard the names and remembered that was the series bratty & rally & co. keep talking about so i gave in and tried it. been hooked ever since. taking a page from stewie griffin's book-- damn you, woman ¬_¬ *more evil glares* so, since y'all got me into this mess, do you have any fanfic recommendations? good fics are kinda good to find, and it seems like this is one fandom that favors shonen-ai pairings so it makes them even more rare! *remembers gundam wing*
so, hot topic is like my favorite store EVER. i go there and i go crazy, i just want to buy EVERYTHING (except the care bears stuff, i'll donate those to my roommate glory)! and that's a new one for me, because i don't like shopping. on friday we went to the mall and went in there and i saw some really cool full metal alchemist t-shirts, the cutest inuyasha plushies, oh-- and a sango keychain which i just adore. there were also IY t-shirts, a sonic t-shirt that i'm sure i'll buy for my brother's birthday, and the NERV t-shirt that i've been wanting to buy for the longest time!! oh, and really hilarious family guy t-shirts. unfortunately i don't have any more money ;_; so i'll have to wait until fall semester to go there and buy something. only thing i've bought there so far is my gryffindor bookbag which i love so much, i'm sure it'll become some sort of family heirloom in the future because i won't be able to let go of it ^______________^ lol. i love that store. it's funny because my roommate (the care bears fan) entered some sort of draw/contest in heizberg (or however it's written) diamonds for $10000 in jewelry and i just kept wishing "why don't they make one of those but for hot topic?" i'm addicted. lol. i'll be lucky if i have any money by the time i graduate.
on saturday we watched the movie "hitch", which was actually better than i expected. not DVD-buying material, but it WAS pretty funny. and on sunday we watched "the motorcycle diaries" which was awesome. gael garcia bernal was great as always, though, as i say, "se le salia lo mexicano de vez en cuando." but it was a very deep movie, that's for sure. learned some things, i did, since i don't know much about che guevara other than the basics. and even if it was pretty dramatic, my friends made it funny anyway... my roommate vanessa kept making jokes about those sex-dolphins-things everytime anyone so much as looked at the river. lol. so yeah, i really liked it. can they be considered "the motorcycle diaries", though, if they didn't have a motorcycle for half the trip?
