READY STEADY GO
-- l'arc~en~ciel, "ready steady go."
it's 3:29 am. i just finished writing two scenes of
somnium insidiae 6, and it looks like i'm going to keep writing it. i'm so proud of myself ^___________^ my mom would kill me if she knew i was up at this hour, though. but who cares, i don't have classes tomorrow ^.^ i don't wanna post any of the scenes here, though, cuz they're all very spoilery and i don't want to spoil anyone ^-^ so you're just gonna have to wait until the chapter is complete.
i
went to the movies last friday and saw batman begins.
awesome movie. and i'm not just saying that because i've been in love with christian bale since i was 10. it really was great! really awesome cast (gary oldman, liam neeson, michael caine... even katie holmes was good and you won't hear these words come out of my mouth that often). what i liked the most is that it seemed like "the bad guy" was more real than in any of the other batman movies. they had a true purpose, not like those clowns in the past that for some freaky reason got superpowers and decided to use them to get rich or famous or something along those lines. this "reason for evil" was so much deeper. and i almost squealed when they started talking about microwaves and people dying because of a certain chemical. THANK YOU, writers, for giving them a brain. guns used for stealing banks can only go so far with me. and of course, christian bale was much more convincing, being younger, than his predecessors when it came to the angst related to his parent's deaths. michael keaton crying about his mommy's death when he's like forty-five just didn't break my heart at all. and let's not start with george clooney-- that was just a teenybopper fest, both times. i've never quite liked batman, as in the series, be it comics or movies or animated series... but this one marks a difference, this one i really liked. cheers.
i'm happy cuz i got another one of my kill-for fanlistings,
the shinji/asuka fanlisting! oh, i'm so happy. i love those two. though my eva craze seems to have died down, as i'm back to reading harry potter fics. 25 days until HBP! *squee*
EDIT @ 1918 hrs that same day... argh, i keep forgetting the stuff i wanted to say. i'm also happy because i added like a million
new skins to kNET, in fact i'm STILL adding new skins right now. well, not really new, since some of them are old and recycled, but you catch my drift.
also, i just finished reading the
artemis fowl book. not the greatest book ever, but it was fun. got a little boring there in the middle, but i liked the beginning, and the ending was very sweet. of sorts. so... tomorrow i'll start with angels & demons, then.
