(no subject)
so i recieved my hogwarts letter and found it was written on sheepskin of all things.
is this a hint?? is it some suggestion from the powers that be that i settle for less and join my fellow witches in their positions of domesticated stupor and not fight for the equal rights that my bretheren have fought for in the name of womanhood?? because if it is i will not be silenced no matter how many disgusting animal carcasses they send me, i will never follow the flock! i will never become a sheep to society and i certainly wont follow any shepards, either!!
i explained all this to Aunt Amelia and she just said "you go girl" and patted me on the shoulder. it didn't really help and i don't think i really understood what she meant by that, but i'm sure that if i just let it sink in i will come to understand the complexity of her words of wisdom.
