We have a 3 hour layover in Long Beach. This airport smells like twat and looks like 1982. It is a dump. They don't have wifi, either, but fortunately we can tether our Droid phones for wifi. (This is going to save us the rape-tastic $20/day internet charges at the hotel, too.) I love technology.

Now that I have a phone that takes decent photographs, I have been enjoying making more mobile posts. I definitely am going to do some while away... but how many should I do? I want to avoid being too annoying. ;)

Last batch of Vegas photos! On Thursday, our last day in Vegas, we were able to meet up with tabbyfoo, squidflakes and their kids for a trip to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, and then lunch. I was so excited to meet them!

After a day spent wandering and drinking weak drinks on the strip, Matt and I met up with jameth and gmat tutor to explore Fremont Street. I opted to take the megapixels out with us. It was the first time I had taken out my SLR the whole trip.

We had a long day of traveling, and because our tickets were cheap, we had connection flights Then we arrived at the Luxor and waited in line for two hours to get checked in. The room itself was unimpressive, dirty and had a strange smell. We didn't let this bother us much, because it was cheap and we didn't plan to spend a lot of time there ( Read more... )

We had a great time! This trip was even better than the last. We are already planning our next visit in February 2010, for my 30th birthday on the 27th. Who wants to come with me?
