Back to black...
Back at work this week, and don't I know it. Lots of fiddly Photoshop work which is entertaining and always a good deviance from my usual wordiness, but time-consuming. Despite working for an extra hour, I actually feel pretty rosy! I suppose it just feels good getting things done.
Thoughts on the last ER we had here behind the cut. :)
Another reasonable episode I suppose. I did feel sad at the bit with Sam and Alex at the end, the only time I have felt a shred of empathy about their situation at all! I suppose in a way, Gates was just trying to do the right thing, but it was so sick with the kid at the end admitting he helped the mother commit suicide. But still, I can't find myself warming to him at all. The Jane/Munson blindfolding with a bandage/buying a bed was deliciously disturbing. Neela and the kidneys, well, I suppose she did the right thing, I just think perhaps it would have been more interesting if they put the kidneys in a nice pie or something!
With hindsight, it's kinda a shame that Hope/Morris found out about the wedding, because there could have been a lot more fun with the secret engagement. The ring conversation was good though, and the Wiccan wedding thing was enjoyable. That is all.
Tash and me slogged it to Lakeside last week which was great, managing to feast on all the goodies in the huge M&S and, to put it more accurately, the food court! It was good to know that after testing the theory, it was reasonably easy to get to without having a car. And that we were able to carry all our shopping back!
Claire is coming at the weekend and also I must plan something to do on the Bank Holiday, instead of slowly stewing in bed til midday!
